Atlantic Translucence SHF4T77 100 CD/51 DVD/BluRay/Games 4-Tier Media Rack (Titanium/Black) Purchaser Reviews

Atlantic Translucence SHF4T77 100 CD/51 DVD/BluRay/Games 4-Tier Media Rack (Titanium/Black) Purchaser Reviews
This 6 tier media rack was a good buy. It was easy (for my husband) to assemble, accommodated the DVD's in an orderly create and is ration its purpose. The best part is that it is reasonably narrow and fits of laughter in a tight space. I only wish it were taller. As confirmed, it can be a bit wobbly, but my husband solved that by making the adjoin legs (using the screws) a little higher than the back, so the rack at an angle a bit into the roadblock...problem solved. We will doubtless get a second one quickly.

Perfect for DVD/CD but I use this as a PS3 and Xbox 360 holder as well. The design makes it real easy to assemble but flimsy. What can you expect from a shelf that weighs less than 3 pounds?

I returned this shelf unit because it is a shiny silver stand. It appears much darker in the picture. Also, it is a very tall and narrow stand that would fall over easily if placed on carpet.

I actually bought this to use as a spice rack in my small kitchen. I had a 7 in space between the counter and wall and this rack fit almost perfectly and I was able to put all my spices on it and free up so much counter and cabinet space.

Easy to assemble. Seems a little unstable, but it should stand up without a problem as long as you don't walk into it.

low maintenance, sturdy, easily assembled media rack for CD's, DVD's, event books. Chrome color fits any room, already own three other racks

The Good:-Easy to assemble-Holds up on carpet pretty well.-Rows are shiftable so you can adjust if you have those large boxsets, or if you only need to use a few rows you can rearrange the shelf height (aand put in some nice decorative pieces at the top and bottom, or solely the top, or whatever you can come up with :))-This shelf can fit about 70 singular dvds or video game boxes, not 51 (the box itself says 68, so not sure why the title here says 51)-It's about 2 1/2 feet so it's perfect for a small apartment or a child's room. That said, I'll probably give this to my nephew and buy a bigger one for myself. I bought this for my small dvd collection, but with all my boxsets it looks like I'd need about 3 more rows!

This shelving unit was one of the easiest that I've ever assembled, and I've assembled plenty of them since I have to house over four hundred CDs and nearly two hundred DVDs. I have owned everything from cheap units to rather expensive and complicated to build units. I put this one together in under ten minutes and the only hang-up was spacing the DVD shelves properly. I remedied this quickly after I placed my first shelf in by taking a DVD and placing it on the shelf, then putting the next spacer in place.Like another reviewer stated, this unit is somewhat flimsy, but it comes with a stationary strap that you can attach to the wall if you so choose. Personally, I think that once you have the unit assembled and the bulk of your media on the shelves, this unit will stay put unless you get a little rough with it.Overall, not a bad unit for your media. It has a nice look to it and it blends into the background rather well.

I enjoyed putting this together. The spacers kinda threw me until I realized you use 2 per pole under each corner of a shelf. I got it assembled then my daughter pointed out that the DVD shelves weren't spaced properly [CD sized] so I had to take it apart and redo it, but that wasn't too bad. The spacers snap apart easily enough, even for my feeble fingers. It's not terribly sturdy [maybe I didn't get the poles screwed down tightly enough] but as long as it's in its permanent location, holds the multimedia well. I really like the way it looks. Bought this item for my teenager and will have to get myself one, too :)

This is a decent product for media storage. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes to assemble, but it's not of the greatest quality. Definately a good purchase for someone on a very tight budget, but if you have the extra cash to spend I would definately invest in a much sturdier product. Assembly is very simple, but the finished product is fiarly flimsy and doesn't stand straight. This will definately serve it's purpose, but I will definately be upgrading to a much sturdier model when I can afford it.
